i tink...I'll make this livejournal a sort of spiritual journal 4 me..then for mi other blog..it's e normal type of post..hehehex hmm aniwae before i do mi quiet time..I'll like to reiterate e point i made e previous post..tat we muz,as christians,fulfill our destiny..our purpose on earth..another verse I'll quote is tis : " Not everyone who says to me,"Lord,Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then i will tell them plainly, "I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!" (Matthew 7:21-23)
Also...
"All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved." (Matt 10:22)
As u can see..these are not easy verses..and easy steps we take as christians..but God clearly defines the meaning of a disciple..that it is not juz following his commands..but obeying them and doing them...he clearly states tat as a disciple..we need to get ready for battle any moment..to take up our cross and put him first before..family,friends,ur loved ones..everytink...
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16
U see..God loved us so dearly that he died 4 us onthe cross..who here wud die 4 us..knowing that he/she is sinless?? nobody..but Christ did..4 e sake of u and me..and he juz wans us to love him bk..i feel tat i muz..even though sometimes i confess tat i do not put him first..but instead regard my time or possessions more worthy than He is..For God at the same time..can give us wadever we ask for..but he also can take away everytink from us in an instant..
"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell." Matt 10:28
Having said all these..I shall now do mi quiet time..God..may u speak to me each day..that I may gain something new fr ur word..that i may grow closer to ur likeness... =X
